192. Waiting

Feels like I've waited for months...
Four panel scene showing a girl waiting for a bus. How long has she been there?

Description

Four seasons or four minutes? Waiting for buses can feel like an eternity.

This came about from many different ideas, but mostly after travelling to a remote part of Scotland, where buses come every two and half hours... And true to Scottsh weather, it went through rain/sun cycles every five minutes.

Wanting to do something with seasons I visited an old image and expanded on it. It felt quite daunting to do at the beginning (as do a lot of images recently...) so I thought I'd go the quicker route of big and (dirty?) fun outlines.

For some reason I keep telling myself pictures are better without outlines, but in reality the imapct is still here, if not more with them. I'm constantly having to remind myself what I personally find appealing in my and other peoples illustrations rather than worrying about how technically good it might be.

Lesson learnt.
