185. Léon
The Professional
Description
This was my first piece for the rather excellent Score Magazine. In a nice change of pace I got to draw something film related, rather than my usual one-after-another game related pieces. The illustration was for an article on anti-heroes so I chose Léon, (from the film 'Léon, The Professional") as my choice of anti-hero...
Mostly because the art-editor described it as 'Léon - the greatest', which I think may of been a subtle hint.
As for the piece, it's clearly just a slightly (but only slightly) exaggerated portrait of Jean Reno in his Léon cameo. In true form to the film he had to be creeping out of the shadows -- with his characteristic glasses and snazzy braces.
Apart from that, a quick apology over the lack of images as of late. Many things all happened at once leaving little time for drawing. Thankfully The Score Magazine gave me a reason to draw during a busy time. But I think it's helped me back on the drawing track, so expect more... sometime. Oh, I should get a blog.

Sorry... great site but I don't think this is one of your best creations. I don't think it does Leon justice...
Loved your portrait of Spike (Rush) though.

@ Ben Warren - No problem at all, it was intended to be sarcastic, but it doesn't really show through in the comment, so we're both right, perhaps?! Ah, language... this why I draw!
